Other Adoption Organizations
While we want to help everyone that comes here, we realistically know we can’t.
We have some trusted organizations that we encourage you to reach out to whether you apply here or not! There are a lot of great resources out there - financial and otherwise.
Hope That Binds not only offers an Adoption Grant Program, but also Post-Adoption Care & Counseling and a ton of resources!

OHIO RESIDENTS
There is an Adoption Grant Program that is unique to Ohio.
Effective April 7, 2023, the Ohio Adoption Grant Program gives you the opportunity to apply for a one-time payment.
Ohioans who adopt can apply for a $10,000 one-time payment.
Those who adopt a child they’ve been fostering can apply for a $15,000 one-time payment.
If the child has one or more special needs (as defined in the law) prior to the adoption finalization, the parent can apply for a one-time payment of $20,000.
Show Hope has an Adoption Aid Program along with some great pre-post adoption resources! Show Hope and One 17 share the same belief that one of the biggest barriers in the adoption process is the financial side. We share the same mission to help knock down this barrier and help families welcome children into loving home.
”One of the primary barriers standing between waiting children and families is the cost associated with adoption.
Our grants help break down that cost and have been a part of helping more than 8,600 children come home to the love, security, and permanency of a family.”

“Are you facing a financial hurdle on your adoption journey? Apply for a Gift of Adoption grant now. Grants of up to $15,000 are available to help you complete your relative, domestic, or international adoption.”
